Capital Keys Performing Arts Foundation presents a shared cultural recital featuring Romanian violinist Irina Muresanu and Spanish pianist Daniel del Pino. Inspired by the performers’ cultural backgrounds, the program traces a musical journey across Europe, connecting Eastern and Western traditions through Hungary, Austria, Germany, and France, as represented by major composers from each region.
This project centers on music as a shared cultural language. By framing the repertoire through a geographical and cultural narrative, the program offers audiences both an engaging listening experience and a broader perspective on the connections between European musical traditions—an approach that aligns closely with Capital Keys’ mission to present accessible, thoughtfully curated performances. As internationally recognized artists from Romania and Spain, they bring authenticity and depth to a concept rooted in cultural identity and dialogue. Their collaboration began at the Newport Music Festival in 2019 and has since developed into a dynamic partnership presented at major venues across the United States and Europe.
Their backgrounds also create meaningful opportunities for cultural partnership. As artists representing two distinct European traditions, they provide a natural connection to Romanian and Spanish cultural communities, as well as to the broader diplomatic network in Washington, DC. This positions the project as an ideal platform for collaboration with embassies and cultural institutions, supporting CKPAF’s goal of building bridges between the arts and the international community.
