Capital Keys Founders’ Concert
On February 21, 2026, Capital Keys presented our very first Founders’ Concert at the beautiful The Mansion at Strathmore, and it was an evening we will never forget. More than a concert, it was a heartfelt reflection of who we are and why our foundation was created.
The program was performed by our founders, Dr. Ham Chan and Dr. YiQiao Li, alongside Capital Keys’ President of the Board, Bill Townsend. Together, they brought to life a program of classical masterworks of Faure, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Tosti, and Brahms, with remarkable artistry, professionalism, and genuine passion. The atmosphere on stage was filled with warmth and charm, and each piece was shaped with care and intention. The evening reminded us that classical music is not distant or exclusive: it is vibrant, deeply human, and meant to be shared.
We were delighted to welcome guests from across the D.M.V. area. The room was filled with supportive friends, dedicated patrons, and new audience members experiencing live classical performance with us for the first time. The encouragement, kind words, and enthusiastic feedback we received affirmed something we hold close to our hearts: our community not only appreciates classical music but truly values access to high-quality live performances.
